Death Note

>> May 21, 2008

Ok, I thought I was a HUGE nerd and fangirl until I went to the special showing of Death Note, the live action movie of one of my favorite anime/mangas.

Chloe and I dragged Victor and Grant to the theater, bought our tickets, and chose a seat at the back of the theater, since the room was almost full even though it was 45 minutes before the show.

After waiting a while some guys came in and we overheard this: "Oh sure, we'll come to Death Note, NO ONE will come to Death Note! THE THEATER IS PACKED!"

When the movie started, all these fangirls started cheering for their favorite characters. It made me feel good about myself because I wasn't obsessed with the show.

So believe it or not, I'm not as geeky as you all thought!

Last class is tomorrow, but I still have to finish proofing my paper (which means getting my dad to proof it).

My dad can't read the paper until he puts my siblings to bed. But they won't go to bed.

I'm thisclose to being done with school for the summer, and I can't finish until after they go to bed.

Driving me crazy.

On Friday I'm going to see Chess again! YAY! I'll be silently bragging that I'm done with school.

I'm going to dinner with the cast.

School is almost over, and I can't concentrate at all.

I went to see my friends in Chess today. It was good. Very good. And they were very happy to see me. Colin volunteered a hug. So did Katherine. And Marina was wowed that I had no braces. I'm going again on Friday and going afterward to eat dinner.

Tomorrow I have to listen to Thomas Aquinas tapes all day tomorrow and write a paper after that... rawr-mrgh... death on toast.

I know you might think I'm silly, but I like how these cassette tapes look... even though I really never used cassette tapes...
